Multiplayer and interface changes
The patch fixes outsiders joining Private and Solo lobbies, restores Escape-key response in the spectator connection interface, and adds a switch for beer screen shake. Spell keybinds can be reassigned. Disconnect messages now distinguish a kick, server crash, and game-version mismatch. The post also says players on different versions cannot connect, making a shared version check the first co-op troubleshooting step.
Client-facing boss displays received several corrections. Boss names should display correctly, and FEARNAUGHT's health bar, title, and shield status were fixed for clients. Text overflow and the Fearblower icon were addressed. Repeated falls from the map can return a player to the spawning chamber after more than five occurrences, while the developer notes that a fuller unstuck feature was still being worked on.
Weapons and equipment changes
Durability increased by twenty-five percent for the pipe, rifle, and Dogma's staff. Lock keys can be used twice. The cannon rotates faster and has a larger projectile hitbox against bosses so shots are less likely to pass between their legs. The rocket launcher received an unspecified adjustment, which should remain described as slight rather than converted into a damage or speed claim.
The patch also fixes inventory-slot switching while using a syringe or book. Those are equipment interactions, not proof that every named item belongs in one weapon table. The official store says the current Early Access version has ten weapons. Patch 0.05.005 names only a subset, so the weapons hub keeps the total and the changed subset separate.
Enemy and B.O.S.S. balance
FEARNAUGHT is rebalanced around party size. Holy Shield cooldown and enemy spawn timing now scale with the number of players. The developer says the result is easier for solo and two-player parties and harder for a full party. The patch also fixes metal gate behavior, Kobold and Sphere pathing, and changes Kobolds so they act faster, have more health, and take more bullet damage.
Penetrator waits three times longer between attacks in Solo. Ghoul decapitation and gate-caused decapitation were fixed, and normal-headed Wild Husks spawn more often. The BATTALION arena received collision fixes. These details support entity summaries but do not establish exact health pools, attack values, encounter schedules, drops, or universal counters.
Spell and interaction changes
Petting the cat now reduces FEAR. Circle of Delivery should place teleported items around the teleporter instead of below it. Failed casts display a notification when a spell misses or has no effect, or when a marked item no longer exists at cast time. Pocket Dimension now waits eight seconds before erasing items, up from two seconds in the official patch wording.
These lines make the current spell guide more useful without producing a 57-page spell database. They explain purchase and feedback behavior, name two changed spells, and preserve exact source context. The later 0.05.006 hotfix fixes the accidental spell-purchasing change. No official source in this check supports a damage calculator, complete cooldown table, or best-spell ranking.
Shops, quests, and modes
Selling items marked Gifted by the Empire was fixed, along with a post-mission buy-back exploit. Cannon ammunition and ammo-crate prices were corrected. The starting shop and pre-boss shop gained items, and Infinite Bunker gained another shop. The post does not give a complete price list or identify every added item, so current copy should describe the change without filling in the missing catalog.
Quest availability now increases by day in every mode, and progress updates for every client even when another client or the server completes the objective. Duplicate cat extraction rewards and the Cat Person achievement received fixes. Find Artillery was removed from Infinite Mode because artillery cannons are not currently present there. The starting gate power case and BATTALION arena collisions were also fixed.
What Hotfix 0.05.006 supersedes
The end of the 0.05.005 post lists missing strings, cat extraction animation trouble, dragging animation problems involving Penetrator, Faitheater, or Goddess, a lingering interaction hint after a dragged player dies, and concern about CHOPPER difficulty or behavior. That list is a snapshot of the developer's knowledge when 0.05.005 shipped.
Hotfix 0.05.006 then fixes CHOPPER getting stuck on dead players, adds the ten-second shutdown, and improves pathfinding. The old CHOPPER concern is historical after 0.05.006, not a current official issue. The other acknowledged items stay attached to 0.05.005 until newer official evidence clearly resolves or replaces them.
