Spell purchasing was reverted and fixed
The developer says the previous patch accidentally changed the spell-buy system. Hotfix 0.05.006 reverts that change and lists purchasing spells as fixed. This is the current official status for the purchase problem. The note does not publish a price table, unlock schedule, refund rule, or list of affected spells, so this guide does not add any of those details.
Players troubleshooting a purchase should first confirm that Steam has installed the current build. The 0.05.005 post already warns that different game versions cannot connect, which makes version alignment useful beyond co-op. If the current interface still behaves differently after an update, capture the exact version and visible message before treating an old report as the same problem.
CHOPPER received a direct behavior fix
Hotfix 0.05.006 calls CHOPPER the axe-wielding enemy and gives three current facts. It should no longer get stuck on dead players. Its pathfinding is improved. After killing a player, it shuts down for ten seconds. Those are developer statements for this build and are safe to use without importing demo behavior or player-made statistics.
The ten-second shutdown is a behavior window, not a promised counter. The note does not say CHOPPER's health, attack damage, detection radius, spawn rate, loot, or exact route logic. A squad can communicate the visible shutdown and use the time deliberately, but the page cannot guarantee what space, hazards, or other enemies will allow during a specific procedural run.
Day 3 B.O.S.S. progression no longer breaks in one departure case
The hotfix addresses a specific progression failure: when a player left during the Day 3 B.O.S.S. fight, the following day could break. Version 0.05.006 marks that case fixed. The statement does not name the boss, list every possible disconnect path, or promise that all Day 3 progression problems share the same cause.
For a current co-op problem, record whether somebody left, was kicked, crashed, or had a different game version. Patch 0.05.005 adds visible disconnect reasons for kicks, server crashes, and version mismatch. Keeping the event type attached to the report makes it easier to separate this fixed B.O.S.S. case from another network or progression symptom.
DOUBLE TAP now awards the whole server
DOUBLE TAP is the Steam achievement for defeating two bosses. Before this hotfix, the developer describes an award problem in which only the host received it. Version 0.05.006 changes the official expected result: every player on the server should receive the achievement after the requirement is met.
That fix belongs on both the achievement and co-op pages because the symptom looked different depending on role. A host could see success while clients did not. The current description still does not justify adding secret prerequisites, timing rules, boss identities, or save-specific guarantees. The achievement guide keeps the visible Steam objective and the official host-only fix together.
Several broken text locations were fixed
The final listed change is broad: broken text was fixed in several places. No complete string list appears in the post. The safe summary is equally broad. An old screenshot may show a label that no longer matches the current build, while a new missing or malformed string needs its own current evidence before this guide calls it an official issue.
Patch 0.05.005 had acknowledged missing string values at that time. Hotfix 0.05.006 reports several text repairs without saying every missing value is resolved. The known-issues page therefore keeps the older acknowledgment with its source and avoids declaring all text defects fixed or all of them current.
Pages affected by 0.05.006
The spell guide now points readers to the purchasing fix. The CHOPPER page uses the new shutdown and pathfinding description. The bosses and co-op pages mark the Day 3 departure case fixed. Achievements and co-op mark the old host-only DOUBLE TAP behavior fixed. Known Issues moves CHOPPER out of the unresolved 0.05.005 bucket.
Patch history remains chronological. Version 0.05.005 still supplies the larger balance and interface record, including FEARNAUGHT scaling, weapon durability, Penetrator solo behavior, spell keybinds, failed-cast feedback, and shop or quest changes. Read 0.05.006 as a focused correction layered on that build, not a replacement for every earlier change.
